I honestly hate using ifs
Though if only I could confine my whole world only around you
To skip all thoughts and tie only what that there's about you to my neck
Fix you in my blood till your fully a concentration I can't dilute
Hardwire these untouchable memories
Fill my love bank with love only for you
Trust me, I lately hate writing poems
But these races you make me walk everyday leave me without an option
Trust me if I had one, I wouldn't let my mind get occupied by you
You gave me a false heartbeat yet I never thought such a thing existed
This should have been a happening poem
But here I am pinning my tears on paper
Because the ink honestly understands and bears the pain my shoulders cannot
Imagine all that I gave you
Those tongue twisters I would spend sleepless nights to draft just for you to smile
I lost my visionary and creativity to a creature am sure God didn't create
Because you have no heart truly
I pity your soul mate
I am glad we turned out to be soul mates never meant to be
You mistook my love letters for lust
I was exploring to implore something you tainted for your carnal desires
I am the trash you trashed out
Find me in apartment 22
There you will find 2 people
I and the other that could have been you
Just so you know, I moved on faster than you expected
You should have used me while you still had a chance to
Happily, now you can't
Not even in the next life
A modern breakup with hope you find your type
Gladly I wasn't
And never could have been
